Righteous Kill The Movie

RIGHTEOUS KILL.

Back at last. So after 7 weeks of hard work, which I did love, and then a great wrap party. I got back and had to go to the premiere of Righteous kill. The film with Pacino and De Niro play two cops hunting a serial killer. (I was invited by the head of a company I’m working with, but I can’t talk about that).

Anyway the film was decent. I thought it could have been better but their performances were of course fantastic. Then me and my boy Phil went to the after party. It was okay, nothing much going on, I bumped into a few mates then ma and my buddy were ushered to the back room by said head of company to meet Fifty Cent.

We had a decent chat. He was telling me to do something different after the first two films and not to get stuck in that box. I don’t think he’s seen my films but he’s heard enough about them. Soon after I left with my buddy (who’s not in the industry) fighting the urge to shout G-unit as we left.

TROPIC THUNDER

Three days later I was at Tropic Thunder premiere. Now let me make something clear. I’m not one of those people that just turn up at premieres and get snapped and all that crap, but I have noticed I’ve been to 3 this year (Not including my own) and I think that’s enough really. Anyway Tropic Thunder was pretty funny. Tom Cruise stole the film for me. If you don’t know he is in this, he is and he’s very good. I went with my same buddy and he managed to get himself lost in there. Anyway I found him and we had a laugh.

The after party was okay. My boy Aml Ameen was there so I just chatted to him really while girls in short skirts got drunk all over the place. Eventually I got bored went and grabbed some food and went home. After parties can be so over hyped and when you get there, they’re nothing.

Point is: Tropic thunder was funny… Not Brilliant… But very funny.

WORKING HARD and MAKING TIME

I get a lot of messages on here and I’m grateful for all of them. I’ve also said that when I can I give opportunities to people. I have done that and I always will. But seriously when some people write me and go “yeah blud call me innit” or “get back to me so we can talk” or “lets meet up” or the classic “I got an idea for a film, come and help me make it”. What in the flying f**k of all f***s makes you think I have the time to just come down, or meet up, or help? when I’m trying to get things done so you can watch them. People are welcome to send messages. But please think before you just write nonsense. Because from… NOW on. You write rubbish, you’re blocked. When films come up, you will get your chance. Acting, music, crew, whatever. You will get your chance. But understand that I have stuff to do as well and there is no point getting angry with me because I can’t come to your house and chat about ideas with you. It just ain’t gonna happen. So deal with it.

PROJECTS

Obviously, I did Doghouse and that was one of the films I spoke about earlier in the year. The other things will be happening soon but I can’t/won’t talk about that. Oh yeah West10 fans watch out…

FIFTY CENT

As Fifty said to me. Don’t get trapped in that box. So all of you keep getting better at what you do… the chances will come soon.
