Heartless, Thongs & Perfect Movies

Tags:

So Adulthood is done, and since then people have been wondering what I’ve been up too. Well I’ve been quite busy writing and have delivered a couple of scripts that things are happening with, but as you know I never talk about things like that until they are happening. But when and if they do, it will be BIG NEWS! And you will be the first to know.

HEARTLESS.

I recently finished Acting in the Philip Ridley film HEARTLESS with Jim Sturgess. Jim is a genuine star and a really good guy. We had a lot of fun on that. I’ve got photos but can’t put any up as certain secrets may be revealed that can’t be at this point. At the moment, forgetting my projects. (Noel Clarke films will always have a certain flavour) I’m supposed to be acting in two movies in the next few months with lead or co-lead roles. I won’t talk about them yet (just in case) but will let you know when I can.

THONGS.

I was speaking to a Actor friend of mine the other day and he was telling me that women send him sweet letters and “interesting” photos. He even got a thong through the post. (sent to his agent) Gross… I don’t ever want that surprise. I mean what the hell is that about? But then I thought, where the hell are my sweet letters and “interesting” photos. I was jealous for a second, but then I got a beautiful wife and he doesn’t. (Girls, feel free to send pics though, make sure you are over 18) Lol… Just kidding.

PROMS.

My wife and baby were at the BBC Doctor who proms with me the on Sunday. The boy is still to young to understand, but It was good to include him in DR WHO stuff and let him meet Freema, Catherine, Nick Briggs, and his god mother (Auntie) Camille.

PERFECT MOVIES.

I watched The Dark Knight, at the premiere last Monday and have to say the film is excellent. It’s almost perfect. Enough Batman, enough Joker, and enough Bruce Wanye and Alfred. I thought it was a little too long, and can’t quite figure out how it’s a 12a, but it was a stunning film and Heath ledger is as good as people say, playing the Joker the way he should have always been played.

DONE.

So that’s it for now. I will fill you all in when I have news on the next project which should be soon, so keep checking the page. Keep making your music, keep practicing your acting, because when the next project is up and I come calling, more people will get a chance. It doesn’t mean everyone will get in the movie or be on the soundtrack. It might just be one person, but if you want it to be you… You better be ready.

What's up Noel?

Got to let you know that us fans appreciate having this facilty to come online and read blogs that you post up, also being able to post messages ourselves that you may read.

I went to see The Dark Knight with a couple of pals the other day and I agree with most of what you're saying; Heath Ledger absolutely smashed the role and (I felt) stole the show, everytime he was off screen I was asking 'where has he gone?!' Also it was a little too long. The third act, I felt, wasn't quite as tight as the first two.

While watching The Dark Knight I spotted Desmond ('or Buds, or whatever it is you call yourself these days') as a member of The Joker's gang. How big is that? Good for him, man. I doubt you didn't know he was going to be in it, but it was a pleasant surprise for me to spot him in such a big blockbuster.

Anyways, I got to split 'cos I'm attempting to teach myself Screenwriting at the moment, and as I'm sure you know, it's a hugely time-consuming process, so I gots to get back to the text-books.

Nice one, Noel. Peace out.

Denis.

Heartless pics

You are totally evil by teasing the Jim-fans with the Heartless pics.  AGHHHH!!!  Please share any of Jim that wouldn't spoil the movie plot.  We are literally dying here.

But seriously, it's so nice to hear your kind words about Jim.  He's an awesome actor and seems like a genuinely nice person.  Cool and thanks for the update.  :)  FG / Diane
