DOWN TIME.
So I’m working on quite a few projects so look forward to something next year. I can’t tell you what they are but I will try to see everyone who wants to audition if they fit the criteria. I will drop clues once I know when things are happening then will let you know when auditions start. Do NOT send me messages asking me when. I will tell you, Just keep supporting me and I’ll try make the best films, (new and exciting films) for you.
ADAPTATION.
So I was sitting in my barbers the other day. (Big up! MBC all day, keep the PC’S coming) And he mentioned to me that someone was running their mouth about how, one minute I’m supposedly acting like a thug… Wearing shades inside and going MOBOS in baggy jeans etc and the next minute I’m on GMTV or something in a jumper and talking all politely. Anyway, because of this the guy said he thinks I’m confused, or some sort of fake and a bad representation to young people.
Firstly let me say, he’s an idiot. Secondly. Let me say this… I’m not one for giving advice except work hard, and I get asked for advice a lot. But if I can say anything to everyone out there it’s this… Try to be adaptable. I’ve never ever lost my identity, never lost who I am, but I learned very quickly to get along in this industry and generally in life I had to be able to get along with all sorts of people in all sorts of situations, and I think (My personal opinion) it’s very important. I learnt from a young age to be able to be put in any room with any group of people and know that I can get along with some if not all of them. It doesn’t always work and nobody will be liked by everyone, but to know you have that attitude towards things is always a good step. It’s not being fake or being confused. It’s being able to adapt.
It’s common sense really. (I swear I saw 50cent with Bette Midler the other day, and do you really think a bunch of road man made that vitamin water he just sold to coke a cola. No. He’s adaptable.) Do you think OBAMA is where he is by not being able to adapt. Or anyone, the list goes on. Forget my examples, take your pick of someone doing well and most likely, no matter how they make it seem, they can adapt too. Bottom line, no matter race, colour, class or gender. Don’t hate, make you own moves, work hard, be clever, stay true to yourself, but… be try to be adaptable to your environment.
